The Tschumi Foundation was established to specifically address the Shortage of skilled workers in the Swiss hotel and restaurant industry. It supports students and trainees in need, as well as committed training companies, through targeted funding programs and direct financial contributions. In addition, the Foundation promotes vocational training and continuing professional development at all levels, as well as scientific, economic, and technical research for the hotel and restaurant industry in Switzerland. Another specialism is on supporting low-income apprentices and graduates of vocational schools, as well as events organized by the Swiss Hotel Association that serve the purpose of vocational training and continuing professional development.
